It is rare that you can say you have known someone since you were five!The last time I remember seeing him was at my 18th birthday party.His fiancé had been crying and he had stood outside most of the night comforting her.
It is such a shame that the last words I carry with me from him are:
“Roses are red. Lilacs are blue. Roses are dearer by far than you.”
My policeman schoolfriend introduced all of us to Narnia. He brought the books to school and our teacher had read them to us! Thank you I remember being read The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe and The Silver Chair.
