Genealogy can in my view, give us an opportunity to study the effects of toxic people. I believe I have come across at least one (toxic person) in my genealogical studies. I had the opportunity to read her actual words. They had really seemed to scream out, “TOXIC AND MANIPULATIVE” to me. I realise I may be misjudging her, but then I looked at her fruit. I tried to follow her entire life. I saw at least one of her children was an abusive alcoholic. I saw signs that he was a victim of trauma-a trauma which he had then unfortunately appeared to inflict upon his own offspring. As in a previous study I mentioned, I believe the effects of the trauma may have then peaked and then begun to dissipate over a period of generations.

In my view, this appears to concur with the bible.

As I write this I once again ponder my own fruit and pray it may be good.
Jesus came to take this burden from us. We no longer have to carry this burden of past sin. He came to break these chains, if we repent and ask for forgiveness.
