All I remember from my visits to the cream section at the dairy was making myself unpopular by having to yell, “Stop The Machine!”and being taken the Mickey out of every time. I learned first-hand about the exacting standards of Mark’s and Spencer’s. I love Mark’s & Spencer’s!
The food i was expensive but great for the occasional treat. Also I know exactly how fussy they are.
I had to wear these awful steel toe caps but the hypo kept the floor clean but had also attacked my legs and left them sore, I still suffer to this day. We had all used to get one free pot of cream every week, which I would pass to my mother with pride.
