My Welsh flatmate had this great friend. Sounds like he was an even worse student than me. Ironically his father was a driving instructor. To help out he had been given free driving lessons when his father had died, I believe he had hundreds of lessons, During one lesson the instructor had left him alone in the car. To pass the time this character had decided to pop the bubbles in the car’s air freshener. The smell must have been pretty overpowering, as the driving instructor has asked him to check something outside the car,
HE HAD THEN DRIVEN OFF AND HAD LEFT HIM TO WALK HOME! IT WAS MANY, MANY MILES!
