Are We Being Trained To “Like” Things?

I realise there is some kind of Etiquette involved with likes on You Tube but my likes feel !meaningless at time! I dislike the emtire concept of likes at times. I have never disliked stuff but I do see we now have that option I might be nold and start using it from now on.

I feel our egos are becoming too fragile and we are becoming too emotionally dependent on being liked at times. I prefer to share things I appreciate to show I appreciate their value usually.
