Some Great Australian Sarcasm

Taking Bible Verses Out of Context johnbcrist (American Sarcasm)

From Two Years Ago:

Seems pretty close to exactly what happened:

Perhaps there is an INFJ or two at Juice Media.

I have found it really hard to cope with my sarcasm being taken literally all the time.

Sarcasm 101 – SNL

When my ex was trying to show me up by acting like the best parent in the world. He was in public.

I offered to present him with a trophy.

He just acted pleased and stood there waiting.

My brother used to say, “Do you want a medal or a chest to pin it on.”

Mum used to complain about Dad’s sarcasm but at least she was smart enough to recognise it. “Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit was my mum’s constant refrain.” I sometimes think God has a bit of a sarcastic sense of humour too.

Thanks Australia for the best two decades in my life. Being there to protect me and the children when we needed you. Putting my ex husband in his place, not believing his lies and protecting me from stalking.

Thanks for looking after all my paperwork and not losing it. Thanks for treating me as an equal. not making me feel like a second-class-citizen, making me feel so welcome wherever I went and refusing to listen to gossip about me. I’ve Had The Time Of My Life, Yay!!

You deserve a medal.(Oh and Twitter so glad we get to hear the former president again, we all really missed him.)

Oh and a particularly big thank you to all the therapists who saw straight through my husband’s bullsh@#t. It meant so much to me. You are the best,
