I do think those of mixed race, often have the ability to demonstrate the best aspects of any culture to which they belong. I might be a bit biased about this, as I have always tried to teach my own youngsters to draw the best from each of the three cultures (Yes I did say three.) of which they are part.
Currently my son has decided to explore his British heritage and has been making me terrific cups of tea.

A Very Different perspective of Winsron Churchill was given in Australian newspapers in the aftermath of Gallipoli. I found a letter in the Australian National Archives.
I recall he left to fight in the trenches himself following the tragedy Gallipoli.
“Winston who should live in the recollection of thousands of parents as having enriched the spurs and gullies of Gallipoli with the bones and blood of their offspring in what he was pleased to describe as a “gamble” or a game of chance in the art of war,”
