I was so sick of him grilling the children about my movements, I stupidly told him why don’t you just install a camera to watch what’s I’m doing? That was a Big Mistake. At the time I was looking after children so I had attempted to understand his point of view. However it seems like he may have really done it and I recognise I can do nothing to protect myself now.

When I met with other domestic violence survivors they suggested hanging out in McDonald’s if we felt threatened, as it apparently has security cameras. By the way we have the world’s biggest collection of McDonald’s toys (Well it felt like it.) I should probably have already admitted that McDonald’s is kinda My Happy Place too. I used to be teased about being drawn to the golden arches. I guess it is kind of my Achilles Heel. Mum would buy us a milkshake(sometimes also fries) when we used to pick Dad up from work in America.
