Learning To Like Ourselves Again After Abuse..

Anybody else notice how many sub categories of narcissists have appeared lately?

If it weren’t potentially harmful to people, I would find it hilarious. I am waiting for the “I can’t find my glasses narcissist.”

Yup I would have to put my hand up for that one.

Do I think I am Better Off Alone? To me the song sounds like another Jezebel seducing a recovering empathy.

Yup I just couldn’t bear to go through that again. Nor do I want anybody else to suffer as A result of any maladjusted behaviours I might have. Whilst I have no problem with homosexuals, I am totally straight

After a bit of self-analysis I decided I w.as probably a bit oppositional defiant and I quite like me that way. BTW refusing to take “No” for an answer is a classic sign of a toxic person.

Still Crazy After All These Years -Paul Simon.

When I was volunteering in an American school, I always remember a great song we used to sing. Maybe we need to get back to enjoying it.

I cannot find it on You Tube sadly but here are some of the lyrics. (If anybody else finds it please let me know,

Narcissistic abuse can genuinely make you sick sometimes.

“I like me. Yes I like me.

Being what only I can be.

Yes I like me.

I sometimes laugh sometimes cry…”

The Polygraph Lie Detector Metaphor

“What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus.Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.”

2 Timothy 1 13-14

In the end narcissists are so repetitive. It becomes

that they actually help you sleep. 😴
