“The old believe everything; the middle aged suspect everything; the young know everything.“
I am not sure this quote still applies today. Certainly I find know-it-alls of all ages.
Oscar Wilde is an interesting figure as he was imprisoned in 1895 in the UK for homosexuality. I think this is an important part of his story. A portion of the trial is dramatised, with the part of Oscar Wilde being played by Stephen Fry.

Oscar Wilde was imprisoned for his homosexuality in 1895. There are still countries today where homosexuals are imprisoned or assaulted.
In Australia they have a very narrow view of sexuality. For guys if they’re not big, butch and obsessed with sport you are gay.
Also listen to Julia Gillard’s Mysogyny Speech. I like the line where she says, “Has a woman been speaking too long?”
Please read Catch The Moon Mary’s post on Hannah Baxter (She is Australian born & bred) to confirm it is not just me who feels that way.
For females if you admire other women instead of them(men) then you must be gay. All admiration is supposed to be for them. They play women off against each other. Some men do know how to behave.
I watched Jeannette Howard say “I love you John.” when he had lost his final election for example. ❤
I don’t know what they would think of many other things I have done over the years. 😃
Perhaps they should go and find themselves where they don’t have to deal with real women.
