Love this gentle mocking of these know-it-alls. I remember being swamped with unsolicited advice when the children were little. It drove me up the wall, especially when I got to see the fruits of some of their parenting. I lean more this way with teenagers: Raising Helen. Still I managed to keep the children on the straight and narrow till adulthood.
I keep getting videos about a star I used to like, who seems now to be an expert on all things family, despite his own dodgy track record. Just goes to show money can’t buy happiness or sense apparently.
I will remember all the sage advice next time I am hosing a toddler’s poop from their toys!

I had to take my daughter barefoot to.pick my son.up, a couple of times. I have tried really hard to remember what it’s like, so that I will try to understand and not judge.
This is a general comment, not intended for medical staff in particular. I have had it directed at me a couple of times too. So this is not me being all high and mighty.
