Another Perspective (An Update)

I was thrilled to hear an update about the hair and beauty product situation from Trevor Noah. I know there is still a long way to go but it’s a start.

I read one post in particular here on WordPress, written by Benjamin Woolridge, a black American man from El Paso,, which I will never forget. I have been following Benjamin for years.

He had once mentioned how his mother would be humiliated, whenever she wanted to buy hair product, as the product for her hair was not sat on shelves. It was kept in a locked cabinet.

If you want to learn a little more about him and life from his perspective. You can read here

Wow The policy of locking away beauty products for black women in some stores, is finally being changed.

Long Overdue
