Reading Isaac Asimov was a thrill for me as a youngster. I surprise my youngsters occasionally with my knowledge of terms, such as “red and blue shift”, largely thanks to Asimov. I found this quote today when I was thinking of my changing views through the years. I know my opinions on many things may yet change, (as they have in the past) which is why I never claim to know all the answers.
Your assumptions are your windows on the world. Scrub them off every once in a while, or the light won’t come in.
