I have just discovered that I have been nominated for a Sunshine Blogger Award by Being Bipolar, Trying To Break The Stigma. Thank you Lawrence. I am really excited. I have found Lawrence’s Blog really thought-provoking. I have one dear friend who has stuck with me through thick and thin, one of only two people, who is also bi-polar. I have witnessed her struggles dealing with other people’s ignorance and prejudice. I acknowledge Lawrence’s brave fight to change things. I don’t know why we insist on everybody being the same and stigmatize people who think outside the square. They are often a glimpse of the future.
Here are my answer to the eleven questions.
Do you have any plans for a holiday in 2018?
I am reluctant to make plans at the moment as they have tended to fall through. I have been grabbing the odd overnight hotel stay when I can, as I have been looking for a new home.
Where in the world would you most like to visit?
Home, England. The only place I feel left on my bucket list is possibly Antarctica.
What is your favourite colour?
I love bright colours full stop but I am particularly into red and purple at the moment.
Do you like sport?
No, not at all.
If you could have only one book which would you choose?
The Bible
Which do you prefer mountains or sea.
Can’t I have both? I believe you can have both in Vancouver. If I am forced to choose, I will choose the sea.
How do you dress?
Alternative. I love second-hand shops and I love quality. Currently my favourite is an old grey grandpa cardigan which is pure new wool and Australian-made, which I got from a second-hand shop. I try to be particular about shopping ethically.

Where would I love to live?
Somewhere lively, fun with plenty of cultural activities by the sea, where the people are broad-minded, kind and accepting.
Do I have a sweet tooth?
Absolutely. Chocolate is my oldest and dearest friend?
Do I like tattoos?
No. I love the Obamas answer to the prospect of one of their youngsters getting tattoos.
Do I have a pet?
No, not since the sad demise of my last chicken.
My Nominations etc to follow in part 2.
