Unfortunately the situation for the people of the world seems to have deteriorated rather than improved, so I feel the need to reblog this post from 2017.
Sadly as relevant today as when it first came out over thirty years ago, Have we really moved forward or backwards?
I realised today that the harvest season is already in progress in the U.K.. I remember watching wheat being harvested , when we used to stay at my grandparent’s house for the Summer holiday. It was amazing to see and then within a short space of time, the fields would be reduced to stalks.( The dog did not particularly enjoy this season as he would invariably try to sit down on the painful wheat stalks).
If there is on thing genealogy teaches us, it is how connected we all are.
